We’ll arrive on Friday the 14th at about 9 a.m., get our car, and head towards the Highlands (after a couple of stops in Glasgow). I hope to stop by Renfrewshire for a quick picture on our way out. For a map, click here. We'll spend the night in Traighuaine.
Saturday will be our longest driving day, heading north to the northern Highlands, along with Britain’s highest road, the pass over Bealach na Ba. Lotta Dubh looks nice, although it will probably take a while to get there.
On Sunday we’ll travel to the Ardullie House B&B, north of Inverness, to see some more of the Highlands. I hope to see Applecross today, too. While we’re in the area, we’ll pay our underwater ally a visit.
Monday we'll head south towards Perth to stay with the 18th generation of Rattrays to live in Craighall Castle. It will put us nearby St. Andrews for the conference, at which we'll stay until Saturday, when we head back to Glasgow.
